About the Role

This is an associate position focused on real estate finance matters in the commercial lending space. You'll work directly with institutional and commercial lender clients on their largest, most complex transactions. What You'll Do

  • Negotiate loan documentation, security agreements, and collateral arrangements with borrowers and their counsel
  • Draft and review comprehensive financing agreements, including promissory notes, mortgages, and subordination arrangements
  • Conduct legal due diligence on properties, borrowers, and title matters
  • Manage deal closings and coordinate with title companies, appraisers, and other transaction participants
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance, lender protections, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with repeat institutional lender clients

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated focus on real estate finance and lending matters
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills in complex commercial documents

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple transactions simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills with institutional clients
