Prime Therapeutics is hiring a Full Time Legal Counsel in Carson City to provide strategic legal guidance and contracting support across our organization. About the Role

As Legal Counsel, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, delivering pragmatic legal counsel on complex matters central to our pharmacy benefit management operations. Your work will directly impact how we contract with partners, navigate regulatory requirements, and advance our commitment to serving members with integrity. You'll work closely with leadership and operational teams to anticipate legal risks, resolve disputes, and ensure compliance across all business functions.

What You'll Do

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with providers, vendors, and partners to protect Prime's interests and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Provide legal analysis and recommendations on PBM-specific contracting issues, regulatory obligations, and transactional matters
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage legal risks, compliance matters, and policy interpretation
• Support litigation and dispute resolution efforts when necessary
• Stay current with healthcare law, PBM regulations, and industry developments affecting our operations
• Advise on corporate governance, employment matters, and general business operations

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in the United States
• 3+ years of legal experience, ideally in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, or related industries
• Strong background in contract drafting, review, and negotiation
• Solid understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and PBM operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly
• Proactive problem-solving approach and ability to work independently and collaboratively
