Strata Talent Solutions is hiring a Head of Business Development to lead growth initiatives and drive revenue across our US operations. This full-time position is based on-site in the United States and offers the chance to shape strategy for a rapidly expanding recruitment firm.
About the Role
As Head of Business Development, you will own the strategic expansion of Strata Talent Solutions' client base and revenue streams. You'll develop and execute go-to-market strategies that establish our presence with emerging companies in Life Sciences, Tech, and Finance. This role combines sales leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on relationship building to drive sustainable growth across North America.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives and hiring leaders at target organizations
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Life Sciences, Technology, and Financial Services sectors
- Design and implement business development strategies that align with company goals and market dynamics
- Develop partnerships with complementary service providers and industry stakeholders
- Own pipeline development, deal structuring, and contract negotiation
- Lead outreach and account management to drive client acquisition and retention
- Collaborate with recruitment and delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction and long-term relationships
- Track and analyze business development metrics to optimize performance and strategy
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience in staffing, recruitment, or related professional services
- Proven track record of building new business and closing enterprise-level deals
- Deep understanding of Life Sciences, Tech, or Finance industry landscapes
- Strong executive communication and relationship-building skills
- Strategic mindset combined with drive to execute and deliver results
- Experience managing and growing client relationships focused on long-term value and retention
- Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams
