Technology Liaison Lead

About the Role

As Technology Liaison Lead, you will serve as a bridge between our Information Technology department and school buildings throughout the Grand Rapids Public Schools district. You'll champion effective technology adoption, support staff in using district systems, and help ensure technology investments deliver real value in classrooms and administrative offices.

What You'll Do

• Facilitate communication between IT teams and building administrators, teachers, and staff regarding technology needs and solutions
• Coordinate training and professional development on district technology tools and platforms
• Support the rollout and implementation of new technology initiatives across school buildings
• Gather feedback from end users and communicate priorities and concerns back to the technology department
• Help troubleshoot technology challenges and connect staff with appropriate technical support
• Collaborate on technology planning to ensure solutions align with educational goals
• Document processes and create resources to help staff use district technology effectively

What We're Looking For

• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, accessible language
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Experience working in a K–12 school environment or similar educational setting
• Comfortable learning new technology platforms and mastering them quickly
• Excellent interpersonal skills and genuine enthusiasm for supporting others
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on finding practical, user-centered solutions
