About the Role

With increased storm activity and catastrophic weather events impacting properties across the country, skilled insurance claims adjusters remain in high demand. As an Independent Insurance Claims Adjuster serving the Americus, Georgia area, you'll be the professional responsible for evaluating losses, determining coverage, and helping property owners recover. You'll work independently in the field, conducting inspections and preparing thorough assessments.

What You'll Do

• Conduct detailed on-site property inspections and document damage with photos and measurements
• Review insurance policies to evaluate coverage limits, deductibles, and claim eligibility
• Interview claimants and other parties to understand the circumstances of each loss
• Prepare comprehensive written reports with findings and recommendations
• Communicate with insurers, policyholders, contractors, and legal representatives as needed
• Manage your caseload to meet deadlines and maintain service quality
• Ensure all work complies with Georgia state regulations and company standards

What We're Looking For

• Valid Georgia insurance adjuster license, or readiness to become licensed
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Independent, self-directed work approach
• Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
• Ability to work in field environments, including adverse weather
• Professionalism and empathy when working with claimants
• No prior insurance adjusting experience required; licensed adjusters and career-entry applicants both welcome
