About the Role
As a Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide, you'll provide direct care and support to residents in our assisted living and memory care community. Your work will focus on helping residents maintain comfort, dignity, and quality of life while collaborating closely with our nursing and care team.
What You'll Do
- Assist residents with personal care including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Support safe mobility, transfers, and ambulation for residents with varying care needs
- Monitor resident comfort and well-being, reporting observations to the nursing team
- Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming living environments
- Provide specialized support to residents with memory loss and cognitive decline
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate resident services
- Document care activities and assist with daily care processes
What We're Looking For
- Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification, or willingness to obtain certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Physical capability to safely assist residents with transfers and mobility
- Genuine compassion for aging adults and commitment to person-centered care
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and professional work habits
- Ability to work in a fast-paced care environment
