About the Role
As an LPN at our Memory Care Center, you'll provide direct patient care to older adults navigating cognitive decline. This part-time position offers 20 hours per week with a schedule designed around your life—no nights, no weekends, and no holiday shifts required. You'll work alongside a compassionate care team committed to dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
What You'll Do
- Deliver direct nursing care to memory care residents, including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and wound care as appropriate to LPN scope
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide emotional support during transitions and difficult moments
- Communicate resident needs and changes with the nursing team and care coordinators
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Help create a safe, calm environment for residents with memory loss or dementia
What We're Looking For
- Current LPN licensure in North Carolina
- Compassion and patience working with elderly residents, especially those with cognitive impairment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to person-centered care and resident dignity
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in memory care, long-term care, or geriatric nursing preferred
