Assistant Professor – Tenure/Tenure-Track – College of Nursing

What You'll Do

• Design, deliver, and continuously improve undergraduate and/or graduate nursing courses across didactic and clinical settings
• Conduct independent research or scholarship aligned with your expertise and institutional priorities
• Serve on academic committees and contribute to departmental governance
• Mentor students in their clinical development and professional growth
• Collaborate with colleagues, healthcare partners, and interdisciplinary teams
• Pursue grant funding and professional development activities
• Engage in service to the university, profession, and community

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in nursing or a related field; doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, or equivalent) preferred
• Current RN licensure and professional standing
• Evidence of effective nursing education and/or clinical expertise
• Demonstrated commitment to scholarly activity and continuous learning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience or willingness to teach in diverse, urban healthcare environments
