This full-time position offers the opportunity to maintain and support the critical systems and infrastructure of one of the nation's most iconic properties.

About the Role

As part of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and optimization of all mechanical, electrical, and building systems throughout the hotel. You'll work proactively to ensure guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction by maintaining the property's complex infrastructure to the highest standards expected of a luxury InterContinental property.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs in a timely manner to minimize guest impact
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, facilities, and grounds to identify potential issues before they escalate
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using diagnostic tools and industry best practices
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and document all work completed
• Collaborate with the engineering team and other departments to support seamless hotel operations
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and building codes

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant technical training or certification
• Proven experience in engineering maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical equipment independently
• Valid state licensing or certifications as required by local regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment
