About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient therapy team in Effingham, Illinois. This travel position offers the chance to make an impact in a new community while working standard full-time hours. The assignment runs for 13 weeks beginning July 13, 2026, with 40 hours per week scheduled across 8-hour shifts.

What You'll Do

• Assist licensed physical therapists with patient treatment and rehabilitation exercises
• Help patients perform therapeutic activities designed to restore mobility and reduce pain
• Maintain treatment equipment and prepare therapy spaces for patient sessions
• Document patient progress and communicate observations to the clinical team
• Support patient education on home exercise programs and self-care techniques
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized outpatient therapy environment
