Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist

About the Role

In this travel physical therapist role, you'll evaluate and treat patients across a spectrum of conditions—orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical—in a busy outpatient therapy clinic. Working 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts, you'll develop individualized care plans, guide therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation specialists to help patients regain function and independence. The combination of clinical autonomy and team support creates an ideal environment for PTs seeking meaningful work with geographic flexibility.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and establish treatment objectives
• Implement therapeutic exercises and hands-on techniques tailored to patient needs
• Monitor clinical progress, modify interventions, and document outcomes
• Consult with referring providers and care team members on patient management
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Uphold regulatory standards and facility clinical protocols

What We're Looking For

• Current Physical Therapist (DPT) license in Florida or eligible for state licensure
• Demonstrated experience in outpatient physical therapy
• Proficiency in patient assessment, intervention, and functional outcomes measurement
• Comfort with independent clinical decision-making in a team-oriented environment
• Professional communication and patient rapport skills
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for temporary assignment work in new communities
