About the Role

This travel assignment places an experienced CT imaging technologist in a dynamic diagnostic imaging department where you'll operate advanced scanning equipment, manage patient workflows, and contribute to delivering high-quality diagnostic care. You'll work alongside radiologists and clinical staff, quickly adapting to facility-specific protocols while maintaining the highest standards of image quality and patient safety.

What You'll Do

  • Operate computed tomography equipment and advanced imaging systems in accordance with established clinical protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for CT procedures while explaining imaging protocols and addressing patient concerns
  • Capture diagnostic-quality images using proper positioning techniques to minimize repeat exposures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adhere to infection control and radiation safety procedures
  • Maintain accurate, timely patient records and imaging documentation
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support diagnostic imaging workflows

What We're Looking For

  • Active CT technologist certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent credential
  • Current state radiologic technology license where required by law
  • Demonstrated proficiency operating multi-slice CT equipment in clinical settings
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient care and team collaboration
  • Flexibility and adaptability for travel-based assignments across varying facility environments
  • Current CPR certification and understanding of HIPAA regulations
