About the Role
CompuCom is seeking a dedicated Field Technician to provide direct technical support and system maintenance in the field. What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware, systems, and network infrastructure at client locations
- Install, configure, and maintain technology equipment according to specifications
- Perform preventive maintenance and regular system inspections to prevent downtime
- Diagnose technical problems and implement effective solutions in real-time
- Document all service work, parts used, and time spent on each job accurately
- Communicate clearly with clients about issues, repairs, and maintenance recommendations
- Travel to various client sites throughout the Paradise area as assigned
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and CompuCom's service protocols
What We're Looking For
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving experience with computer systems or technical equipment
- Hands-on experience with hardware installation, maintenance, and repair
- Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ preferred
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for field service work
- Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple appointments
- Professional demeanor and commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Willingness to learn new technologies and expand technical expertise
