About the Role

As a Maternal Child Clinical Faculty member, you'll lead direct nursing instruction and clinical mentorship through partnerships with healthcare facilities throughout Oklahoma City. Your role centers on guiding BSN students through real-world maternal and child health experiences, helping them develop critical clinical judgment and the compassionate care that defines excellent nursing practice.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and evaluate nursing students during clinical rotations in maternal-child health settings
• Assess student clinical competency and provide actionable, constructive feedback
• Model evidence-based practice and safe, patient-centered nursing care
• Coordinate learning experiences with clinical partners to maximize educational value
• Stay current with obstetric, pediatric, and neonatal best practices and standards
• Document student progress and communicate outcomes with program faculty

Schedule and Commitment

This part-time position typically involves 12-hour clinical shifts (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.), scheduled for three to four consecutive days per week. The exact schedule is structured based on program needs and clinical partner requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Oklahoma
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in maternal-child nursing
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in obstetric, pediatric, or neonatal nursing
• Strong communication, leadership, and teaching abilities
• Ability to work effectively with diverse learners and clinical teams
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
