Global Employee Tax and Compensation Manager

Join PIMCO as a Global Employee Tax and Compensation Manager in our Balboa, Orange County headquarters. In this full-time position, you'll lead the strategic oversight of employee tax compliance and compensation programs across our global operations, directly supporting PIMCO's mission as a world-class provider of active fixed income and investment solutions.

About the Role

You will serve as the key strategist for employee tax and compensation matters across PIMCO's international workforce. This role combines policy development with day-to-day compliance management, requiring both strategic vision and operational excellence to navigate the complexities of multi-jurisdictional tax regulations and compensation best practices.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and administration of competitive global compensation programs across all operating jurisdictions
• Manage employee tax compliance strategies and ensure adherence to evolving international tax requirements
• Develop policies and procedures that support talent acquisition, retention, and market competitiveness
• Monitor regulatory changes across jurisdictions and adapt compensation and tax strategies accordingly
• Oversee payroll systems, tax reporting, and compensation documentation
• Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, and Legal teams on cross-functional initiatives
• Provide advisory guidance on tax-efficient compensation structures and incentive programs
• Ensure full audit readiness and maintain comprehensive compliance records

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related discipline
• Substantial professional experience in employee tax, global compensation management, or payroll administration
• Demonstrated mastery of international tax regulations and cross-border compensation compliance
• Proficiency with payroll systems and compensation administration platforms
• Deep knowledge of US and multinational tax implications for employee benefits and compensation
• Strong analytical capability and attention to regulatory detail
• Proven ability to partner effectively across multiple business functions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
