This is a temporary, full-time seasonal position lasting nine months or fewer, running from April 25, 2026 through October 31, 2026, with hourly pay ranging from $20.00 to $21.00. A single posting covers both the Lead and Non-Lead Inspector tracks, so applicants are considered for either level based on experience. Working on-site in Park County, Colorado, inspectors safeguard Tarryall Reservoir by examining incoming and outgoing vessels and performing decontamination when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of watercraft and trailers entering and leaving Tarryall Reservoir.
- Carry out decontamination procedures to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.
- Educate and assist boaters about inspection requirements and water safety practices.
- For Lead Inspectors: help coordinate daily station operations and support fellow team members.
- Accurately document inspection activity and maintain station records.
