Acero Schools Network is hiring a full-time Instructional Coach (18/19 SY) in Chicago, Cook County — a hands-on educator role for someone ready to elevate teaching practice and student achievement across our school community.

About the Role

As an Instructional Coach with Acero Schools Network in Chicago, you will partner closely with classroom teachers to strengthen instruction, develop talent, and turn shared goals into measurable results. This is an on-site, full-time position grounded in our belief that we are what we believe: achievement, community, excellence, resilience, and optimism.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and mentor teachers to refine instructional strategies and classroom practice.
• Set clear goals alongside educators and follow through on the work it takes to reach them.
• Model a commitment to excellence by helping colleagues make strong teaching even stronger.
• Foster a collaborative, community-minded culture that serves students and families.
• Help teams learn and grow through the everyday challenges of school improvement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience and expertise in instruction and teacher development.

• Strong collaboration skills and a genuine commitment to serving the school community.
• Resilience and optimism in the face of adversity and change.
• Availability for full-time, in-person work in Chicago, Cook County (this role is not remote).
