About the Role
As a Cook at Crossroads Turning Points in Pueblo, you'll prepare and serve meals for the individuals we support as they work through substance use and mental health challenges. It's a hands-on, on-site position where good food becomes part of the daily care that helps clients build stable, healthy routines and pursue long-term recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and cook meals on-site at our Pueblo location.
- Serve balanced, appealing food that meets dietary and nutritional needs.
- Keep the kitchen, equipment, and food-storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with food-safety standards.
- Manage ingredients, monitor inventory, and help reduce waste.
- Work closely with staff to coordinate meal schedules and special requirements.
- Contribute to a supportive, respectful atmosphere for the people we serve.
Qualifications
- Experience preparing meals in a kitchen, food-service, or institutional setting.
- Working knowledge of food-safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
