What You'll Do
- Carry and manage an active docket of family law cases from initial consultation through resolution or trial
- Represent clients in divorce proceedings, including contested and uncontested matters
- Advocate for clients on child custody, parenting plans, and visitation arrangements
- Handle child support calculations, modifications, and enforcement actions
- Address spousal support and marital property division issues
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court orders
- Appear before Dane County courts and administrative bodies on behalf of clients
- Advise clients on legal rights and strategic options in a clear, compassionate manner
- Collaborate with firm colleagues on complex or overlapping domestic matters
What We're Looking For
- Active Wisconsin bar license in good standing
- Demonstrated experience practicing family law, including litigation exposure
- Working knowledge of Wisconsin family statutes and Dane County court procedures
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple active matters
