About the Role
As a Graduate Nurse, RN, you will join Independence Health System Inc immediately after graduating from a nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing, prior to completing your licensure examination. This pathway is built to support new graduates as they transition from the classroom into hands-on, patient-centered care at any of our facilities throughout Westmoreland County.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-informed nursing care to patients under appropriate clinical supervision.
- Collaborate with physicians, experienced RNs, and the broader interdisciplinary care team.
- Assist with assessments, treatments, and ongoing monitoring of patient progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold established patient safety standards.
- Progress toward full RN licensure while developing core clinical competencies.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing.
- Anticipated graduation in Spring 2026.
- Have not yet completed the licensure examination (graduate nurse status).
- A genuine commitment to high-quality, patient-focused care.
