About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Travel CVOR Tech position based in Mesa, Maricopa County. As a Pediatric CVOR Tech, you'll be an essential member of the cardiovascular surgical team, helping to deliver safe, precise care during open-heart and vascular procedures for pediatric patients. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a start date of 7/20/2026, scheduled on a rotating basis of four 10-hour shifts each week.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile operating field for cardiovascular and pediatric cardiac surgeries
• Anticipate the surgical team's needs and pass instruments, sutures, and supplies efficiently throughout each case
• Set up, test, and manage specialized CVOR equipment and instrumentation
• Uphold strict aseptic technique and patient safety standards at all times
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and circulating nurses during procedures

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a CVOR Tech, ideally within a pediatric cardiovascular setting
• Current surgical technologist certification and credentials valid for practice in Arizona
• Strong working knowledge of cardiovascular instruments, equipment, and sterile protocols
• Availability for rotating shifts of four 10-hour days across the full 13-week contract
• Adaptability and reliability suited to the demands of travel assignments
