This Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery position in Modesto, Stanislaus County (zip 95355) is a travel assignment partnered through TravelNurseSource and Epic Travel Staffing. As a Labor & Delivery RN, you'll deliver compassionate, skilled obstetric care to expectant mothers and newborns while working a day shift schedule in a supportive clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, recognizing and responding to changes during the birthing process.
- Assist physicians and the care team during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
- Educate and support patients and their families before, during, and after childbirth.
- Document care accurately and collaborate with the multidisciplinary unit to ensure safe outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license valid for practice in California.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in a Labor & Delivery (L&D) setting.
- Availability for a full-time, day-shift travel assignment in Modesto, CA.
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills suited to a fast-paced obstetric unit.
