This full-time Groom Student/Groom Tech (Bather) position is perfect for animal lovers who want to begin a hands-on path toward becoming a professional Groomer. Working exclusively evening shifts (after 4pm) at our Loch Alpine, Washtenaw County location, you'll bathe and prep dogs while learning the craft of grooming in a lively, welcoming setting full of soapy suds and wagging tails.

Key Responsibilities

• Bathe, dry, and prepare dogs for grooming services during after-4pm shifts
• Support our grooming team and pick up foundational grooming skills on the job
• Handle pets gently, safely, and with patience throughout each visit
• Keep bathing areas tidy, sanitary, and well stocked
• Deliver friendly, neighborly service to pet parents and their companions

Qualifications

• Genuine love for animals and a desire to learn the grooming trade
• Comfortable working a wet, active, hands-on evening environment
• Availability to consistently work shifts starting after 4pm
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and a friendly approach to customers
• Willingness to grow into a full Groomer role over time
