Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer hauling flatbed loads on regional Midwest lanes.
• Secure, tarp, and inspect freight in line with Decker and DOT safety standards.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs and records.
• Communicate with dispatch to keep deliveries on schedule and customers satisfied.
• Represent Decker professionally at shippers, receivers, and on every mile of the route.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A (CDL-A) commercial driver's license.
• At least 6 months of recent tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Willingness to learn flatbed operations; prior flatbed experience is welcome but not mandatory.
• Commitment to safe driving practices and on-time, damage-free delivery.
• Ability to work full-time on regional Midwest routes out of Grand Rapids, Kent County.
