Medical Solutions is hiring a Local Contract PCU Registered Nurse in Chickamauga, Hamilton County, offering $34–40 per hour for an experienced progressive care RN ready for a new local assignment.

About the Role

This is a full-time, local contract opportunity for a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Progressive Care (PCU). Working with Medical Solutions in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area, you'll join a Progressive Care Unit caring for cardiac and step-down patients who need close monitoring. The assignment runs 13 weeks at 36 hours per week, scheduled on 12-hour night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to cardiac and progressive care patients on a Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor patients requiring intermediate-level observation and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and unit protocols.
• Document assessments and care accurately while coordinating with the broader care team.
• Support patient and family education throughout the course of treatment.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure valid for practice in Tennessee.
• Clinical experience in a Cardiac PCU or Progressive Care setting.
• Availability for 12-hour night shifts across a 13-week local contract.
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills suited to a fast-paced unit.
