General Summary

 

The Sales Assistant plays a key supporting role in the success of the US sales team by providing administrative, operational, and customer service support to the VP of Global Sales. This position assists in managing the daily workflow of the sales department, including scheduling, lead tracking, CRM updates, and preparing sales materials and reports. The Sales Assistant also serves as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and the efficient execution of client-facing tasks across residential and strategic partner (SP) channels. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset are essential in this fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

        Provide day-to-day administrative support to the VP of Global Sales

 

        Prepare and update sales reports, presentations, and customer-facing materials for residential and SP accounts

 

        Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements for the VP of Global Sales

 

        Assist with lead tracking, CRM data entry, and pipeline management across all sales channels

 

        Support coordination between the sales team and the Strategic Partner (SP) network, including onboarding and communication

 

        Assist in tracking SP territory coverage and ensuring Basics product line distribution aligns with current SP network policies

 

        Conduct market and competitor research to support US sales strategy

 

        Help organize sales campaigns, events, client meetings, and trade shows

 

        Ensure timely communication and document flow between the sales team, operations, and other departments

 

        Support order processing and client onboarding as needed across residential and SP channels

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

        Experience supporting a senior sales executive or working within a sales organization

 

        Familiarity with B2B sales, strategic partner channels, and customer relationship lifecycles

 

        Knowledge of the US market and business practices

 

        Bilingual (English and Spanish)

 

 

 

Physical Requirements

 

        Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods.

 

        Frequent use of computer, phone, and standard office equipment.

 

        Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., product samples or boxes).

 

        Occasional walking, bending, reaching, or light physical activity.

 

        Clear verbal and written communication required.

 

 

 

Working Conditions

 

        Primarily an office-based position with a standard Monday–Friday schedule.

 

        Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.

 

        Occasional travel may be required to client meetings, SP partner locations, or industry events.

 

        Collaboration with sales, operations, and customer service teams in both in-person and virtual settings.

 

 

        May require extended screen time and multitasking across multiple software platforms.
