Medical Education Manager – Coronary

Abbott is hiring a Medical Education Manager – Coronary to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of clinical education programs within its Vascular division. This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity based in the United States for a professional who thrives at the intersection of clinical expertise, relationship management, and program execution.

About the Role

As the Medical Education Manager – Coronary, you will own the development and ongoing management of medical education initiatives that advance how clinicians learn about coronary and vascular therapies. Reporting into Abbott Vascular—a business focused on innovative, minimally invasive, cost-effective treatments for vascular disease—you will cultivate Key Opinion Leader (KOL) partnerships, guide a support team, and keep every program aligned with the broader medical education strategy and applicable regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, launch, and refine medical education programs, adapting them as strategy and field needs evolve.
• Partner with marketing and production to create promotional assets, event documentation, and customer testimonials that raise program awareness.
• Coach the Education Support team, offering clinical insight and feedback to ensure smooth execution.
• Manage physician KOLs, faculty, vendors, and internal and external stakeholders collaboratively.
• Track program metrics, maintain course content, and align events on goals, budget, and messaging.
• Coordinate with Product Marketing, Medical Affairs, sales leadership, and field teams to equip them to promote local programs.
• Safeguard compliance with Abbott corporate and regulatory guidelines while documenting training activity.
• Drive continuous improvement by evaluating program effectiveness and sharing results.
• Travel up to 50%, including occasional weekend travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent mix of education and professional experience.
• Minimum of 4 years in clinical and/or training roles within cardiovascular therapy preferred, or comparable sales/marketing background.
• Sharp organizational skills, strong follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of an organization.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with physicians and stakeholders.
• Capacity to work independently and within a team while balancing competing deadlines.
