Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the daily administration and operational delivery of the project across its workstreams
  • Track timelines, deliverables and milestones to keep delivery on course
  • Prepare milestone reports, project updates, briefing papers and governance documentation
  • Organise project meetings, stakeholder consultations, workshops and engagement activities
  • Maintain project records, action registers and communication materials

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, with negotiation, tact and conflict-resolution skills
  • Highly organised, accurate and able to manage competing demands under tight deadlines, working independently and within a team
  • Sound administrative skills and familiarity with the project life cycle, documentation and methodologies in the agricultural sector

  • Prior experience in higher education or a complex organisation, and a current Australian Driver's Licence

Build the skills for this role

Useful strengths for this title include project coordination, stakeholder communication, risk/safety awareness in agricultural contexts, documentation, and working with multi-party timelines in a research or public-good program. No formal cert list or costs were provided.

Be ready to discuss how you have run complex multi-stakeholder projects, managed risk or safety-related work, and reported progress in academic or public-sector settings. Ask how the Roadmap to Farm Safety is governed, who the key partners are, and how success is measured.

Strong fit if you want senior project delivery at a major Australian university on a farm-safety roadmap, not a pure research or teaching role. Less fit if you need remote-first work or a commercial product/engineering day job—the listing is not marked remote.
