VP Finance

Fleek is hiring a VP Finance to lead the company's financial operations and strategy as it scales rapidly. Based in London, this is a full-time, in-office role reporting to the founders of a Series B+ growth-stage business transforming the secondhand fashion supply chain.

What This Role Involves

You'll join Fleek's leadership team at a pivotal moment in the company's growth. As VP Finance, you'll establish rigorous financial governance whilst keeping the organisation nimble enough to move at startup speed. You'll own financial planning and forecasting across multiple geographies, manage a globally distributed finance function, and use financial insights to shape strategic decisions alongside the founders. Your work spans day-to-day operational finance, long-term cash management, and preparation for future funding rounds.

Your Responsibilities

• Build and lead Fleek's finance team across the UK, India, and Pakistan, covering operational finance, accounting and reporting, and commercial finance
• Own financial planning, forecasting, cash flow management, and budgeting across the entire business
• Establish and enforce financial controls, compliance standards, and reporting hygiene as the company scales
• Translate financial data into actionable insights and decision-making frameworks for the leadership team
• Work on payment systems and financial infrastructure that support Fleek's retailer and supplier partners
• Manage working capital, cash cycles, and financial resilience to support sustainable growth
• Support investor relations and participate in future fundraising initiatives

What You Bring

• Proven experience scaling a finance function from early venture stage through Series C or beyond
• Hands-on expertise in finance strategy, controls, and operational processes
• Track record of building and developing high-performing finance teams
• Strong grasp of cash dynamics, working capital optimisation, and multi-currency operations across borders
• Exposure to fintech, credit, or payment systems (advantageous but not essential)
• Commercial mindset: you see finance as an enabler of growth, not just a cost centre
• Prior involvement in fundraising processes at venture-scale businesses
• Analytical mindset grounded in data; you're intellectually curious and learning-oriented
• Comfortable with ambiguity, high autonomy, and hands-on execution in a startup environment
• Proven ability to drive organisational change and improvement
