About the Role
In this part-time position, you'll serve as a trusted nutritional advisor and brand ambassador for Farmina. Working directly with pet owners at independent retail locations across Pittsburgh, you'll guide customers toward personalized feeding choices that support their pet's health and wellness. Your energy and expertise will help build a growing community of pet lovers who understand the importance of quality nutrition.
What You'll Do
- Educate customers at independent pet retail stores about Farmina products and optimal nutrition for cats and dogs
- Provide personalized recommendations based on individual pet needs, age, health status, and lifestyle
- Build relationships with local retailers to strengthen Farmina's presence in the Pittsburgh market
- Participate in community events, dog parks, and local activities to connect with pet owners
- Foster an engaged pet community through in-person interactions and educational outreach
- Support retailers with product knowledge and customer engagement strategies
What We're Looking For
- Genuine passion for pets, particularly cats and dogs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to educate and influence customer decisions with confidence and authenticity
- Experience in retail, customer service, or community engagement (preferred)
- Reliable transportation for visiting multiple retail locations and events
