This tenure-eligible or tenured faculty appointment within the Department of Neurology centers on advancing patient care and research in our Memory Disorder Program.

About the Role

As a Cognitive Behavioral Neurologist with UVA Health, you will dedicate the majority of your professional effort to clinical practice within the cognitive and behavioral neurology clinic. This on-site position in Charlottesville offers the opportunity to shape a growing Memory Disorder Program at one of the nation's leading academic medical centers. Rank and tenure status are open and will be determined by the candidate's experience and accomplishments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert clinical care to patients in the cognitive and behavioral neurology clinic.
• Contribute to the evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing management of memory and cognitive disorders.
• Support the continued development and growth of the Memory Disorder Program within the Department of Neurology.
• Participate in the academic mission of the School of Medicine through teaching, mentorship, and scholarly activity appropriate to faculty rank.

Qualifications

• Completed training and credentials qualifying for appointment as a cognitive and behavioral neurologist.
• A clinical focus aligned with cognitive and behavioral neurology and memory disorders.
• Academic record commensurate with a tenure-eligible or tenured faculty appointment at the open rank.
• Commitment to academic medicine, including patient care, education, and research within a university setting.
