Role Overview

U.S. Xpress is seeking experienced Truck Drivers for Over-the-Road (OTR) operations using Dry Van trailers. This position offers a sign-on bonus of $5,000 and a weekly pay rate of up to $1,625 for drivers with 1-5 months of experience.

Core Duties

• Pick up and deliver freight across the United States
• Drive solo on average 2,000 miles per week as an OTR driver or 5,500 miles per week for team drivers
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and mileage

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required
• 1-5 months of OTR driving experience preferred but not mandatory
• Prior truck driving experience is a plus
• A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
• Clean driving record and good credit history
