What You'll Do

  • Evaluate patients for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across the full continuum of care
  • Design and carry out individualized treatment plans aligned with each patient's functional goals
  • Provide dysphagia assessment and intervention, including modified diet and compensatory strategy recommendations
  • Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nursing staff as part of an interdisciplinary care team
  • Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support communication and swallowing outcomes

What We're Looking For

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Active Oklahoma SLP license, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one promptly
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in an acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient setting
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills across pediatric and/or adult populations
  • Adaptability and professionalism in fast-paced or unfamiliar clinical environments — hallmarks of a successful travel clinician
