As a traveling SLP placed by CompHealth, you'll step into a clinical setting in Midwest City, OK where your expertise makes an immediate impact. What You'll Do
- Evaluate patients for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across the full continuum of care
- Design and carry out individualized treatment plans aligned with each patient's functional goals
- Provide dysphagia assessment and intervention, including modified diet and compensatory strategy recommendations
- Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nursing staff as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support communication and swallowing outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Active Oklahoma SLP license, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one promptly
- Demonstrated clinical experience in an acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient setting
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills across pediatric and/or adult populations
- Adaptability and professionalism in fast-paced or unfamiliar clinical environments — hallmarks of a successful travel clinician
