About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment with a commitment to 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the PCU setting
- Assess and manage patients' medical conditions, including those requiring critical care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR system
- Participate in shift handoffs and team meetings
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of two years of acute care PCU RN experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Dedication to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment
