Travel Nurse – OR – Operating Room Job

About the Role

This full-time travel nursing position allows you to work in an established operating room setting while maintaining the professional flexibility that draws nurses to travel assignments. You'll be part of a collaborative surgical team, supporting patient safety and clinical excellence throughout the operative and immediate post-operative phases.

What You'll Do

• Educate patients on post-procedure care and reinforce discharge instructions in coordination with the surgical care team
• Monitor patient vital signs, pain levels, and surgical site integrity during recovery
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and infection control standards in the OR environment
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and allied surgical staff
• Document comprehensive patient assessments and communicate clinical changes to the team
• Support patient comfort, safety, and dignity from pre-operative preparation through post-operative stabilization

What We're Looking For

• Current, active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of professional Operating Room nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work decisively in time-sensitive situations

Assignment Details

This 13-week assignment is structured as full-time work, 40 hours per week in 10-hour shifts. The position offers approximately $15,489 monthly gross compensation with an ASAP start date.
