About the Role
As a registered nurse in Labor and Delivery, you'll join an interdisciplinary clinical team dedicated to evidence-based maternal and newborn care. This travel nursing assignment in Federal Way offers professionals the opportunity to expand their experience in a dynamic healthcare setting. You'll work 12-hour shifts within a 36-hour weekly schedule, supporting families through labor, delivery, and initial postpartum care.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, midwives, respiratory therapists, and specialist team members throughout labor and delivery
- Assess maternal and fetal well-being using clinical evaluation and continuous electronic monitoring
- Support labor progression, pain management strategies, and delivery readiness with compassionate patient care
- Manage postpartum maternal assessment and newborn stabilization protocols
- Document clinical findings, maternal responses, and interventions with accuracy and attention to detail
- Adapt quickly to changing clinical needs and departmental priorities
- Collaborate across specialty services and support departments
What We're Looking For
- Current RN license valid in Washington State
- Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience
- Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working collaboratively within healthcare teams
- Flexibility and professional approach to temporary assignments

- Availability to start ASAP
