About the Role
This is a full-time position where you'll serve as a project leader for TSMO implementations—managing the planning, coordination, and execution of systems designed to maximize the efficiency, safety, and responsiveness of existing transportation infrastructure. Working within WSP's Intelligent Mobility team, you'll partner with public-sector clients to develop and deploy solutions that leverage both established technologies and emerging innovations.
What You'll Do
- Lead TSMO projects from initial concept and planning through engineering, integration, implementation, and performance evaluation
- Coordinate with stakeholders across federal, state, and local transportation agencies to establish project goals and maintain alignment throughout execution
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards while delivering transparent communication to clients and team members
- Support the adoption of intelligent transportation systems, incident management protocols, and real-time traffic optimization strategies
- Evaluate project outcomes against established objectives and recommend improvements informed by operational data and stakeholder feedback
What We're Looking For
- Project management experience in transportation, infrastructure, or public-sector settings
- Foundational knowledge of TSMO principles, traffic management, or transportation planning
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Project Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
