Sr. Accountant

Verint Systems, Inc. is hiring a Senior Accountant to join our financial reporting team in Boise, Ada County. This full-time position focuses on consolidations and reporting, working with accounting teams across the globe to deliver accurate financial data and analysis.

About the Role

As Senior Accountant for Consolidations & Reporting, you'll play a critical role in Verint's accounting operations. You'll support the company's month-end and year-end close cycles, helping to ensure accurate and timely financial consolidation and external reporting. This is a hands-on position that combines technical accounting expertise with cross-functional collaboration across global offices.

What You'll Do

• Lead consolidation activities by gathering financial data from global business units and ensuring consistency with corporate accounting standards
• Prepare and maintain detailed work-papers and supporting schedules that document the consolidation process and support external audit and disclosure requirements
• Compile disclosure data required for financial statements and regulatory filings, working closely with accounting teams to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Perform variance analysis and reconciliation of account balances across consolidation periods
• Conduct analytical review of consolidation entries and account changes to identify trends and anomalies
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation packages
• Collaborate with business unit controllers and shared services teams to gather required information and resolve technical accounting questions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in consolidations, reporting, or financial analysis
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, consolidation methodology, and financial statement preparation
• Proficiency with Excel and general ledger or accounting systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Experience working with multi-entity or global organizations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
