We are currently seeking a motivated Transportation Supervisor to lead our driver team at our facility in Arlington, Texas. This role is perfect for someone who can inspire and manage a dynamic group of drivers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of drivers responsible for transporting medical waste containers to and from healthcare facilities.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Handle emergency situations and ensure the safe transport of medical waste in all weather conditions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Transportation Supervisor or similar role within the healthcare industry.
- A strong understanding of transportation logistics, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train team members effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle high-pressure situations.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
