TILE – RECTIFYING TECHNICIAN – D SHIFT

Join Dal-Tile Corporation as a Tile Rectifying Technician on the D shift in Dickson, where you'll play a crucial role in quality assurance and manufacturing excellence. This is a full-time position in our Additional Finishes department that combines hands-on craftsmanship with a strong commitment to safety and operational standards.

Role Overview

As a Tile Rectifying Technician, you'll be responsible for inspecting, finishing, and preparing tiles to meet our exacting quality standards. Working the D shift in our Dickson facility, you'll ensure that every product leaving our Additional Finishes department meets customer specifications and company standards. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for quality in the tile manufacturing industry.

Your Responsibilities

• Inspect tiles for defects and quality issues, making necessary corrections and adjustments
• Perform finishing operations to ensure all products meet established specifications
• Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and procedures throughout your shift
• Execute Lock/Tag/Test audits as assigned to support plant safety initiatives
• Assist in the delivery and implementation of weekly safety training materials for your department
• Support the Quality Management System (ISO 9001 certified) procedures for all finishing operations
• Help maintain a safe, healthy, and organized working environment in the Additional Finishes department
• Document and report any quality concerns or safety observations to your supervisor

Who We're Looking For

• Previous experience in tile manufacturing, quality control, or similar precision finishing work
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to work independently on the D shift
• Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and participate in ongoing safety training
• Ability to understand and follow written specifications and quality guidelines
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
