About the Role

We're seeking passionate, dedicated teachers for our Thousand Oaks KinderCare center. As a full-time educator, you'll create a safe, nurturing environment where children explore, learn, and develop confidence in their early years. You'll partner with families and our team to support each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth through intentional, age-appropriate instruction and engaging classroom experiences.

What You'll Do

• Plan and lead daily learning activities that align with developmental milestones and curriculum standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery
• Build positive relationships with children and families, fostering open communication and trust
• Observe and document child progress, using insights to inform instruction and support individual needs
• Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to implement best practices in early childhood education
• Model and reinforce social-emotional skills, including kindness, problem-solving, and cooperation

What We're Looking For

• Passion for early childhood development and a genuine love of working with young children
• Relevant early childhood education certification, credential, or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create structured yet flexible learning experiences
• Commitment to maintaining professional standards and adhering to childcare regulations
• Reliability, energy, and a positive attitude in a dynamic team environment
