About the Role
As a Teacher Assistant supporting our Rossville and Urbana programs, you will work alongside teachers and clinical staff at Circle Academy, a non-public special education school serving youth ages 5 to 21 across Champaign County and Vermilion County. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for someone who wants to help students build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in school, at home, and throughout the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering individualized instruction to students with emotional and behavioral needs.
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environment.
- Reinforce positive behavior strategies and therapeutic interventions shaped by the educational and clinical team.
- Offer one-on-one and small-group support so students stay engaged and reach their goals.
- Partner with staff to monitor progress and tailor approaches to each learner's strengths.
