About the Role

As a Strategic Sales Executive at Trane Technologies, you'll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that accelerate revenue growth and expand market presence. You'll work with enterprise clients to identify their climate and building efficiency needs, then position our solutions to meet those challenges. This role combines consultative selling with strategic account management, requiring both high-level relationship building and tactical execution in a competitive marketplace.

What You'll Do

  • Develop comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities
  • Prospect, qualify, and close strategic accounts within your assigned territory or vertical
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target organizations
  • Conduct needs assessments and present tailored climate control and building solutions
  • Collaborate with technical and product teams to address complex customer requirements
  • Track pipeline activity, forecast revenue, and meet or exceed quarterly sales targets
  • Represent Trane Technologies at industry events and business development activities

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience, preferably in industrial, building systems, or technology sectors
  • Proven track record of closing large, complex deals and managing a robust sales pipeline
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Experience developing and executing sales strategies, not just executing tactics
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Results-driven mindset with demonstrated success hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, sustainability, or climate control is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
