About the Role

As our Regional Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, you'll oversee and advance EHS programs across multiple facilities and locations. This role combines strategic compliance oversight with hands-on program development, making you instrumental in protecting our workforce and the environment. You'll work directly with operations leadership, facility managers, and employees to cultivate a strong safety culture and ensure regulatory adherence throughout the region.

What You'll Do

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive environmental health and safety programs
• Conduct facility audits and inspections to identify hazards and compliance gaps
• Investigate incidents and accidents, documenting findings and recommending preventive measures
• Lead employee training initiatives on safety procedures, hazard awareness, and best practices
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, EPA requirements, and all applicable local and state standards
• Create and update safety policies, procedures, and documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operations
• Monitor and report on safety metrics and program effectiveness

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related discipline
• Proven experience in EHS roles, ideally at the regional or multi-facility level
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and environmental regulations
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or OHST preferred
• Excellent communication and training abilities
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to travel between facility locations as needed
