Position Summary
Join Sur La Table as a Store Floor Lead in our Madison location. With over 58 stores and the largest avocational cooking program in the US, we offer an unparalleled selection of exclusive and premium-quality goods for the kitchen and table – along with the culinary expertise to match. In this key leadership role, you’ll support daily operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive sales.
What You'll Do
Lead the sales floor and oversee daily store operations as Manager on Duty (MOD).
Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to elevate performance and team engagement. Communicate performance issues directly to the General Manager/Store Manager.
Support onboarding, training, and development of new associates.
Create memorable, educational experiences that inspire customer loyalty and repeat visits.

A proven track record in leadership roles within retail environments.
Exceptional communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
