The Opportunity
At Sur La Table, we are seeking a passionate Culinary Lead to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. With over 58 stores and the largest avocational cooking program in the US, our mission is to inspire customers through culinary expertise, business acumen, and teaching skills. This role will support the culinary program, drive sales, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and help build a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
SUPPORTS THE RECRUITMENT, TRAINING, AND ONGOING DEVELOPMENT OF A HIGH-PERFORMING TEAM TO MEET THE CULINARY BUSINESS NEEDS.
LEAD, COACH, AND INSPIRE ASSOCIATES TO EXCEED PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS AND UPHOLD A POSITIVE TEAM CULTURE.
PROVIDE IN-THE-MOMENT COACHING AND FEEDBACK TO ELEVATE PERFORMANCE AND TEAM ENGAGEMENT. COMMUNICATE PERFORMANCE ISSUES DIRECTLY TO THE GENERAL MANAGER/STORE MANAGER.
REPRESENT SUR LA TABLE’S BRAND AND CULTURE BY CREATING MEMORABLE, EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES THAT INSPIRE REPEAT VISITS AND CUSTOMER LOYALTY.
What We're Looking For
We seek a driven individual with a strong culinary background and leadership experience. Key qualifications include:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a culinary leadership role.
Exceptional customer service skills to deliver an unparalleled #bestincenter experience.
The ability to train, mentor, and develop team members effectively.
Strong communication and coaching abilities to foster a positive work environment.
