About the Role

As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in the success of our retail store by inspiring customers throughout their culinary journey. You'll support daily operations, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and help drive sales through your product knowledge.
- Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences that inspire repeat visits and customer loyalty
- Maintain expertise by staying current on products, actively engaging in available training, and independently seeking out additional resources
- Actively engage customers, identify their needs, recommend relevant products or experiences, and foster a Guest Obsessed culture focused on customer satisfaction
- Maximize selling opportunities by identifying customer needs and offering relevant solutions
- Promote add-on sales and support events that grow sales and enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers
Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be on delivering a #bestincenter customer experience, driving digital growth, and providing vital behind-the-scenes support. You'll engage with customers in-store, online, and through various marketing initiatives to ensure they have the best possible culinary journey.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about cooking and sharing good food. Ideal candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of retail operations, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. A background in sales or a related field is preferred but not required.
