The Opportunity
Join Sur La Table as a Store Floor Lead and play a pivotal role in the success of our retail store. As the Manager on Duty (MOD), you will inspire customers through every stage of their culinary journey while supporting the General Manager or Store Manager in achieving sales and operational goals.
Core Duties
- Lead the sales floor and oversee daily store operations as MOD.
- Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to elevate performance and team engagement. Communicate performance issues directly to the General Manager/Store Manager.
- Support onboarding, training, and development of new associates.
- Create memorable, educational experiences that inspire customer loyalty and repeat visits.
Who We're Looking For
- A proven leader with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to coach and mentor team members effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A passion for cooking, baking, or home entertaining.
- Experience in a retail leadership role is preferred but not required.
