DexCom is seeking a Staff Behavioral Data Scientist, Evidence Translation to join our team in San Diego, where you'll turn complex behavioral and clinical data into insights that improve how people live with diabetes. About the Role
As a Staff Behavioral Data Scientist focused on Evidence Translation, you will bridge rigorous behavioral science and real-world health outcomes. Based in San Diego, San Diego County, you'll analyze how people interact with continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology and translate those findings into evidence that informs products, programs, and patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply behavioral data science methods to uncover patterns that drive healthier outcomes for people managing diabetes.
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable evidence for cross-functional and scientific stakeholders.
- Design and lead studies that connect user behavior with measurable health impact.
- Partner with research, clinical, and product teams to embed evidence-based insights into decision-making.
- Serve as a senior technical voice, mentoring colleagues and elevating analytical standards across the organization.
Qualifications
- Deep expertise in data science with a strong grounding in behavioral or health-related research.
- Proven ability to communicate complex quantitative findings to varied audiences.
- Experience translating data into evidence that shapes products, policy, or clinical practice.
- Comfort operating at a staff level, guiding methodology and influencing strategy.
- Willingness to work on-site full-time in San Diego.
