Sr. Research Nurse – Ft. Lauderdale- Onsite (Full Time, Days)

This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to advance pediatric medical science while supporting a specialized research team dedicated to improving patient outcomes.

About the Role

As Senior Research Nurse at the Nicklaus Children's Hospital Research Institute, you'll serve as a key member of the Clinical Trials Office, reporting to the CTO Manager. You'll work alongside principal investigators, sub-investigators, clinical research coordinators, and lead coordinators to execute protocols with precision and ensure compliance across all study phases.

What You'll Do

• Oversee protocol implementation and adherence to regulatory and institutional guidelines
• Coordinate patient enrollment, informed consent, and ongoing study participation
• Collect, verify, and manage clinical trial data with meticulous attention to accuracy
• Monitor patient safety throughout trial participation and report adverse events appropriately
• Communicate effectively with study sponsors, institutional partners, and research team members
• Mentor and support clinical research coordinators on study-specific procedures
• Maintain detailed documentation and ensure timeliness of regulatory submissions
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to optimize research operations and patient care coordination

What We're Looking For

• Current Florida RN license in good standing
• Minimum 3–5 years clinical research experience, preferably in pediatric settings
• Demonstrated knowledge of clinical trial protocols, GCP, and regulatory requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple studies and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational capabilities
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across clinical and research teams
